Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite was born on April 22, 1982 in Brasília, DF, and at the age of four he won a brother, Rodrigo and moved to Cuiabá, MT. At the age of 7, he moved to São Paulo, where he lived in Perdizes. Nowadays Kaka lives in an apartment in Morumbi, along with his mother Simone, his father Bosco and his brother Rodrigo, near the field where he became an idol.
Kaká was born in an evangelical home of the Apostolic Church Renascer en Cristo of Cambuci, where he was baptized at the age of 14. His favorite band is Rescue, known in the gospel medium for "The Band of the Four Bishops" led by Zé Bruno. Kaká believes that the accident occurred on September 30, 2000 served to increase his faith.
He traveled to Caldas Novas (GO), where the paternal grandparents live, because he could not play for the junior team (he was suspended for having taken 03 yellow cards), and as he descended by a waterslide, he banged his head on the bottom of the pool. It took 04 points, and no one cared about his column, so much that he got to participate in 02 workouts, and complained of back pain with the doctors of São Paulo. In fact, the accident was more serious, as it resulted in a fracture in part of the 6th vertebra of the spine, and the player ran the risk of being paraplegic and abandoning the football for good. Kaká had to wear a cervical vest for 50 days, and had to train for another 10 days to regain fitness. Thank God, he was healed and without problems, and whenever he makes a goal, he raises his hands to heaven and thanks God for not being paralyzed.
Kaka is 2-sighted myopic in each eye and wants to have vision correction surgery because he has already had some problems with contact lenses. He has also used fixed fixture on his teeth and currently uses mobile device as maintenance. He finished his studies (graduated high school in 2000) and intends to study Physical Education or Business Administration.
Kaká did not dream of being a soccer player, but at the age of 8 he caught the attention of his Physical Education teacher of the Brazilian Baptist College, who asked his mother to take him to a soccer school. He went to Sumaré's school, and there, a Chilean named him for the Alphaville Tennis Club. In this period the team was in the final of a championship with São Paulo. Alphaville lost the championship, but the São Paulo board of directors became interested in the mini-club. Since then his father has become the club's sole member, and he began training in São Paulo, Kaka studied in the morning, and trained the rest of the day in field and field soccer.
At age 12 he participated in a sieve and joined the children's team. At that time he joined the Reebok Cup by the Objective College, and that same year was a highlight of the goal team that brought the title of tournament champion held in the United States.
At the beginning of 2001, Kaká was reserve of Alysson in the equipment of Juniors. The São Paulo coaching staff went to the hotel where players competing for the São Paulo Junior Football Cup were concentrated. Arriving there, they decided that Alysson would go up to the pros, but during that week there would be a decisive game for the juniors. They decided to take Kaka, who grabbed the chance, turned professional and started. It's there until today.
But his big turn came on the night of March 7, 2001, in a "spectacle" held at Morumbi Stadium, in the final game of the Rio-SP Tournament final between São Paulo and Botafogo-RJ. The Tricolor lost by 1 to 0, when the flier Fabiano was replaced by, until then, a player unknown by the majority of the fans, but that, impressively, scored 02 goals in 02 minutes !!! Goals that gave the title to Sao Paulo, led the crowd to delirium and definitely removed from anonymity that player with childlike face and docile way.
From there, Kaka only grew. It passed from promise to the reality of São Paulo. He was named the revelation player of 2001. He is a very important player in the São Paulo squad. In 2001, he played the U-20 World Cup with the Brazilian National Team, and in 2002 he dreamed of playing for the National Team. He was called up for some friendlies: he played 10 minutes against Bolivia, and 90 minutes against Iceland, scoring a beautiful goal ... Yes, Kaka had stamped his passport for the 2002 World Cup, which would take place in Korea South Korea and Japan, but lacked the confirmation of coach Luiz Felipe Scolari on May 6, the date that would be announced the 23 athletes who would compete in the World Cup.
On this day, Kaká woke up early and went to São Paulo to get medical treatment, since his ankle was injured. I told the parents that I would stay in the Training Center all day. But when it was about 1:30 pm, the bell of his apartment rang. Dona Simone, the mother of Kaka, went to answer the door and had a surprise: Kaka was there to accompany the escalation with his family. They turned on the television and waited. Suddenly, Felipão announces: "Kaka, from São Paulo!" At starting From there, it was a party ...
Comemorava. Ele usava uma camiseta que estava escrito "I belong to Jesus" (Eu pertenço a Jesus).
